Scans (and a mini-review) of the 2010 Kemono no Souja Erin calendar that I recently purchased…
Happy Halloween from MAY! (plus some anime Halloween images)
Anime Halloween pictures are harder to come by than Christmas ones, but here are some I’ve come across over the years…
Taiga wins Saimoe 2009
I missed my chance at celebrating Kagami’s win last year, but now I will celebrate this year with a galore of Taiga pictures…
Koge-Donbo’s Harry Potter fan art
Famous manga artist Koge-Donbo is best known for her “cute” character designs, especially in her popular series Di Gi Charat, Kamichama Karin, Pita Ten, and others. It’s also well known that she’s a Harry Potter fan. About nine years ago I came across some of her Harry Potter illustrations and saved them to my computer. And now, since I recently saw the new HP movie and am currently reading the final book, I decided to look back at these old, but still pretty, drawings of Koge-Donbo’s…
The anime art gallery that is my room
For the past ten years or so, a little quirk of mine has been to cover every inch of my room with anime pictures and products. On a previous post, I shared photos of how my room looked last year. Since then, I’ve hung up new pictures, rearranged old pictures, and displayed new goodies. So I decided to once again share photos of my anime immersed room, the “2009 edition” XD
Haruhi and Shana 2009 calendar scans
Every year for the past four years I’ve posted scans of newly released anime calendars on my site around this time. So this year I have scans for the Haruhi and Shana 2009 calendars…
Merry Christmas from Mainichi Anime Yume!
Just wanted to wish all my visitors a merry Christmas! ^_^ Whether you celebrate the real Xmas, or just a secular version like me, I hope it’s merry and bright! And if you don’t celebrate Xmas, I wish you a happy holidays in whatever you do =)
Back for the holidays (and with a pretty big update too!)
Hey ^^ It’s been quite a while but I’m finally on vacation now and I’m ready to do some long overdue blog posts! X) Unfortunately my vacation is only 3 weeks long but since I don’t have too much planned, I’ll probably spend a good amount of time catching up on blog posts and site updates. Today I did a pretty big update on the main AnimeYume.com site, adding a bunch of new media files and pictures, so you can check that out. In addition to doing at least a couple more updates on the main site (and possibly adding new anime sections), here on the blog I’m planning to write reviews of a few fall 2008 anime series I’ve been watching, post scans of some 2009 anime calendars, and also write a couple of game reviews. Hopefully I’ll be able to cram all that into 3 weeks, so check back within the next few days! =D
