Having been dedicated to writing about anime online for over a decade now, it’s no surprise that my style as a writer has evolved over the course of those years. Kai on deluscar wrote a post last month about how he’s also evolved as a writer thanks to a passion for writing about anime, which inspired me to share my experiences in writing and how my anime hobby has helped shaped me as a writer…
My 12 moments of anime for 2012
Since 2009 I’ve been participating in the anime blogsphere’s “12 Moments of Anime” project, which consists of us counting down our best anime-related moments of the year every day during the twelve days until Christmas. Remembering the old days of anime fan sites
Over the past few days I’ve been going through my 7+ year-old, but still active, anime fan site, Anime Yume, updating information pages and saving copies of important files. Going through sections of my old site made me reminiscent of the days before blogs, when anime fan sites flourished…
My Japan trip photos, videos, and written coverage now posted!
For the past few days I’ve been working on uploading photos and videos, and writing coverage of the 3-week sightseeing trip to Japan I recently took. I finally finished everything today and posted it on the main site…
