Unfortunately I just haven’t had the time to post this week due to school, doing some work for a friend, and other obligations. Next week is looking pretty busy too, but as always, I didn’t want to go too long without posting something. So I put together some fun anime and related pictures I’ve found around the Interwebs lately…

Since midterms have been going on this week and will continue to next week, I haven’t had much time for blogging. Plus I’ve been working on that Halloween post I keep talking about so I can make sure to get it up on the actual day of Halloween. I have little time for extensive blogging this week unfortunately – I have four long shifts at work and my three days off have been occupied with other things, mostly celebrating my birthday, which was on Wednesday. So once again I felt it was time to do a short post, another “name that anime” to follow up the first one from 4 months ago…
Lately I’ve made it a habit of saving funny anime and other related memes and pictures I come across on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc., onto my hard drive for later use. It’s fun to not only chuckle at them myself a second time, but to show them to friends later on and brighten up their day XD I’ve amassed quite a collection of hilarious Pokemon pictures among them and felt it was time to share some on the blog…
Decorating my room with posters, figures, plushies, etc., from anime and other media I love has been a big thing for me for many years. After all, my room is where I spend most of my time when I’m not at work/school, so why not cover it with things I love? I started posting photos of my room in 2008, and again in 2009 and 2012 as I’ve changed/rearranged things (the 2009 post actually got featured in ANN’s Shelf Life column!) Now it’s been a little over two years since I posted my last room photos and I finally feel that things have changed enough for me to share new ones…
It’s been a hectic week for me due to increased work hours because of Thanksgiving, my seasonal allergies acting up and making me feel crappy, and trying to cram in last minute studying for the JLPT, which is this Sunday. So because of all this, I’m not up to my usual lengthy post today. Instead, I’m just gonna post a quick and (I hope) fun little activity – “Name that anime”…
As much as I want to, I unfortunately don’t have the time or energy for my usual posts this week. I’ve had extra hours at work, I’m in the midst of preparing for a short vacation I’ll be taking with my mom next week, and I’ve been wanting to use the little free time I have to play through my copy of Pokemon X. But I didn’t want to completely neglect the blog this week, so I decided to do something easy – share nice pieces of anime fan art I’ve found on pixiv over the years…

This week a brand new artbook for the Haruhi Suzumiya series was released called Haruhi Hyakka/ハルヒ百花(“hyakka” meaning “many kinds of flowers”). It features all of the recent artwork by the series’ character designer, Noizi Itou, as well as a new short story written by the novel author, Nagaru Tanigawa. Being the major Haruhi fan that I am, I of course had to get a copy and felt like sharing a brief review of it…
