I spent this entire past weekend working on my first major summer update on the main AnimeYume.com site. And it turned out to be one of the biggest updates I’ve done in quite a while ^_^ First of all I added two new anime sections for Lucky Star and Code Geass. I also added YouTube videos to almost all the 28 anime sections. And of course, there’s a handful of new mp3s too. So check out the main site for a complete rundown of all the new stuff. I’ll be back here on the blog with more posts soon, and I should also have at least a couple more updates on the main site before summer break ends =)
I got back from AX ’08 on Sunday and my coverage and photos of it are now posted! =) Even though I didn’t do too much at the con this year and there weren’t any exceptional events, I had a pretty good time and took lots of awesome cosplay photos! What is Anime? – the Visual Definiton is a major anime video project that I began working on in December ’07 and finally posted online this month. To give an idea of what the project is, it basically consists of 1-hour and 40-minutes of various anime opening clips from 50 different anime series’. But instead of having the opening clips play one after another, in between each clip a page of information will come up showing the anime’s title, genre, and a brief synopsis of the story and plot. My main purpose in creating this project is to promote anime to people who do not understand anime’s appeal; in other words, I’m hoping that other anime fans like myself will use it to help spread the awareness of anime’s appeal to others.
First of all, for those of you who’ve seen the YGO Abridged Series on YouTube, I’m sure you’ll agree that it definitely deserves all the praise I’m about to give it and that LittleKuriboh has done ingenious work on it. But for those of you who’ve never seen it, whether you love Yu-Gi-Oh! or hate it, there’s a good chance you’ll still find the Abridged Series absolutely hilarious…

The new anime openings and endings come all at once don’t they ^_^ I posted the newest openings and endings for Bleach, Naruto, Digimon Savers, and the new Pokemon Diamond and Pearl series(some are AVI files, some are YouTube videos.) And I’ve gotta say, I’m pleased with all of them…
