MAY in Round 3 of the Aniblog Tourney

Mainichi Anime Yume’s match has once again come up in Round 3 of the Aniblog Tourney. For those of you already familiar with MAY and feel like voting for me in this match, go ahead and visit the poll here to cast your vote. And for those who are new to MAY and are deciding whether to vote for it, I’ll direct you to my previous post, “Mainchi Anime Yume in the Aniblog Tourney,” which explains what kind of blog MAY is and the kinds of posts I write.

I managed to pull off a victory in Round 2 by just one vote. However, I know the matches will get harder from here on and I don’t expect to get much further. My victory in Round 2 is enough for me, though it would be nice to see how far I can get. But please do visit the other great blogs in the tourney and vote for the one you like best.

Happy voting~!

Don’t pretend to be all nice, Pikachu. I know what you’re up to. Only one of us can advance.

  2. Yumeka says:

    @ Glo

Heh, “Pikachu”? Never been called that before XD

As of now it looks like we’re pretty neck-and-neck in the poll. We’ll just have to see what happens.

  3. Glo says:

Well, it’s really just a race to see who loses to Kurogane’s Blog.

  4. pKjd says:

Gonna do my part to keep this campaign going :3

  5. Yumeka says:

    @ Glo

LOL, now that I saw your post I get why you called me “Pikachu.” Well, may the best blogger (or pokemon) win! XD

    @ pkjd

I can always count on you ^^

  6. digital boy says:

Voted for you. I’m p. sure you should be able to beat Glo, but who knows.

  7. Yumeka says:

    @ digital boy

Thanks~! I’ll see what I can do about remedying the “forum” feel that you say my blog exudes =P

This match is interesting because mine and Glo’s styles are so different. I don’t know how to be anything but serious and honest, so I wouldn’t even know where to start when it comes to writing humorous/satirical posts like Glo, Baka-Raptor, and others. For this match, the sincerity in my posts may be an advantage or a weakness depending on the taste of the majority.

    Voted for you today.

I had no idea Pikachu, that international criminal mastermind, was behind this blog. 0.o That evil yellow mouse-type sure gets around…

(Glo’s piece was very funny, btw. But I still voted for your blog.)

  9. Yumeka says:

    @ Jan

Thanks for the vote~! (Pika! Pika!)

  10. Yi says:

I wished I had discovered your blog sooner. You are a great blogger and I really hope you do well.

Also, congrats on making it to the third round. ^ ^

  11. Yumeka says:

    @ Yi

Thank you so much for the compliments and support ^^

As of now you seem to be holding up well against RC, so that itself is a big accomplishment even if you don’t win.

  12. Prooof says:

We didn’t sign up for the tourney, and I honestly don’t know what a largely episodic blog is doing vs a editorial one.

  13. Yumeka says:

    @ Prooof

I believe the creators of the Aniblog Tourney (Scamp, RP, and a few others I think) just picked the most popular blogs, though they would remove your blog from the tourney if you requested it. I know some people have issues with editorial blogs against episodic blogs. There were a lot of comments about it back in Round 1, but this is just how they’re doing it.
