Happy New Year, from MAY! ^_^

Happy New Year everyone! ^_^ Just a few things I’d like to say…

Looking back at 2006, it’s certainly been an eventful year, not just in the anime world, but for me personally. As far as anime goes, many great series’ debuted this past year, such as Nana, Death Note, and of course, the Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. And obviously it’s been an eventful year in the video game world as well with the release of revolutionary new game systems such as the Nintendo Wii(which I will hopefully be getting soon =P) And for Pokemon fans like me, the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS was certainly a major success for the franchise.

As for me personally, probably the most eventful thing for me this past year was going to Japan for the first time ^_^ I had a wonderful time studying Japanese for a month at Kyoto Sangyo University and am hoping to go back many more times in the future. Also, I think I’ve watched more new anime series’ in 2006 than I have in any other year. This is mostly due to my new computer(that I actually got in the summer of 2005) which allowed me to finally download anime via bittorrent. So naturally I’ve been taking full advantage of it and have been checking out as many new series’ as I’ve had time for =) And lastly, this past fall I started this blog site ^^

Well, hope you’ve all had a good 2006, and here’s to an even better 2007! ^_^
