Giovanni is the leader of Team Rocket, as well as the Viridian City gym. He stays elusive and mysterious, and uses the members of Team Rocket to carry out his plans. Through Team Rocket, his goal is to control all rare and powerful pokemon. He even had a group of scientists create the ultimate pokemon just for him, Mewtwo(but Mewtwo soon escaped from him.) Since he's extremely shady and stays hidden in the shadows most of the time, very little is known about him.
