This past Saturday I purchased my first Blu-ray player. I know Blu-ray has been around for a while now but I was a bit skeptical about getting into it. Firstly, I didn’t have enough money to even get my first HD TV until this past summer, but even then I suppose I was waiting for the price of Blu-rays to go down and for anime to start being released more steadily on BD here in the U.S. But now I feel the time is finally right for me to move up as far as my anime/movie viewing experience…
Welcome to my anime haven
It’s now been a year and four months since I last posted photos of my room, which is covered in anime posters and goodies. My room actually got featured in ANN’s Shelf Life back in Sept. 2009 when I submitted the photos. Haruhi Suzumiya English version novels review
Yen Press and Little, Brown Books for Young Readers released the official English version of the first Haruhi Suzumiya light novel, “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya,” in April of this year. Volume 2, “The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya,” recently came out earlier this month. I’ve purchased and read both of them, so I figured it’s time for a review…
