Tomorrow morning I’ll be heading off to Anime Expo for my 4-day stay at North America’s biggest anime convention (today I’ll be stopping by just to get my badge). This will be my sixth time going to AX and I always try to make each time better than the last =D I have a lot of friends I’m planning to see and fun events I’m planning to attend, so it should be a good one. Unfortunately I won’t have Internet access during my time at AX, so starting Friday (tomorrow) morning I won’t be able to moderate or reply to comments, check Twitter, or respond to e-mail until I get back Monday evening. In the meantime, you can check out the semi-guest blogging I’ve been doing on Ultimatemegax’s Blog (we’re episodically reviewing the Haruhi anime as it’s currently rerunning on Japanese TV).
I should be able to post again on Tuesday or Wednesday with my AX coverage. And as luck would have it, four seasonal anime I’m watching will be ending while I’m away at AX (Acchi Kocchi, Sakamichi no Apollon, Natsuiro Kiseki, and Sankarea). So I’ll be working on my reviews of them in upcoming posts. See you next week!

Insanely jealous! My life will be complete when I get to see Yuki Kajiura (and/or Kalafina and FictionJunction) play live.
Apparently Kajiura has been to AX before. This is my first time seeing her though. Unfortunately I won’t be able to take photos in the concert but hopefully some clips/pictures will be uploaded somewhere ;)

Well, I’ll be seeing her in concert on Day 2 anyway, so that’s why I’m debating about seeing her at the focus panel on Day 1 too. I really want to go to the Pokemon Cosplayer gathering but it’s at the same time as her panel XD We’ll see…

Yuki Kajiura and LiSA concert! Total envy over here. I can only ever go to my local anime convention, so hearing about these other guest appearances at other conventions fills me with envy. lol
Aww, well maybe you can make it to AX one day. Or another big con. Otakon and Sakuracon tend to get a lot of good guests too.
