Thanks for the shoujo suggestions! I'll use them next time (and I can't believe Cardcaptor Sakura totally slipped my mind on that questions! XD)

Let's see, popular shoujo...
- Cardcaptor Sakura; I'm a bit surprised you didn't include it since you seem to be a fan
- Lovely Complex has been pretty big recently, although if you're looking for things with proven staying power it's still new
- Full Moon wo Sagashite is fairly popular and very well-regarded
- Kyo Kara Maoh! seemed pretty popular last time I checked
- Gakuen Alice is one that's not mainstream but popular with anime fans
- Shugo Chara! is still airing, but it's been getting a lot of attention
- Kare Kano is quite well-known and gets great reviews

Good call on including Utena, by the way! It was nice to see a variety of years represented in the survey, since most only cover recent series. :)

Thanks, I'll definitely fix the genre classifications next time. I actually found myself having a hard time thinking of well-known shoujo series to use, which is probably why I went off using series that had romance and other shoujo elements but aren't shoujo. Could you suggest any popular shoujo series to use next time?

Yeah, you've got a couple of issues with your genre classification, not just Chobits. Oh My Goddess! isn't a shoujo series either, not even close; it's seinen. It follows the classic shounen/seinen romance formula to a t, after all. Tsubasa Chronicle was searalized in a shounen magazine, too. And Paradise Kiss and Nana are jousei (although that's pretty close to shoujo).

Sorry if I sound rude, I just hate to see series classified as shoujo when they're clearly not.

I was actually originally planning to have "favorite English dub voice actor/actress" as one of the questions, but since I haven't been as much into dubs as I used to be, I found myself unable to come up with very many of them as choices XD I didn't want to exclude any popular ones that I should've added, so in the end I decided to come up with a different question instead (the "favorite Japanese singer/band."

I took the survey. I'm curious to see what kind of results you'll get this time.

And as for the "favorite seiyuu" question I was torn between 3 people, I really wanted to vote for all 3 of them! (Rie Kugimiya, Paku Romi, Aya Hirano) It was even worse for the "favorite music group/singer", there was 4 people I wanted to vote for! (Asian Kung-fuu generation, High and Mighty Color, Kotoko, Anna Tsuchiya) But in the end I made a choice on both. Then the most difficult was "favorite series", but as for that I decided just to vote for the same series I did last time.
I'm surprised you didn't have a part for "fav english dub actor/actress" though, i'm not big into dubs myselef, but I know some people who are.

Well it does have a lot of shoujo elements so that's why I put it in that section. But since it really isn't shoujo, I guess I'll put it in another category next time =)

Chobits isn't a shoujou series...it was serialized in the seinen magazine Young Magazine, by Kodansha. (along with other manga such as Ghost in the Shell, Younger Sister is in Puberty, and Minami-Ke)
