1,000 piece Haruhi Bunny Girls jigsaw puzzle

I bought this puzzle somewhere in the dealer’s hall at AX and I finally finished it today. It was definitely one of the hardest puzzles I’ve ever done, but it came out gorgeous so it was well worth it…

I honestly had no idea where to start when I first began working on the puzzle. I decided to find all the edge pieces first and then work my way inward towards the middle. What made things a little easier is that they’re all wearing different colors (and their hair is different colors too). But what definitely didn’t help is that a lot of the background colors are similar, the tights they’re wearing all look the same, and the letters at the bottom are all the same colors. But I got through it somehow ^^ Now to find a place for it in my already crowded room…

And while we’re on the subject of jigsaw puzzles, I thought I’d share a few more:

Naruto puzzle

I bought this 500 piece puzzle at Osaka when I was in Japan a few years ago. It wasn’t too hard since there’s a bunch of different colors on it.

Disney puzzle

I found this puzzle at the same store in Osaka but I didn’t buy it (too expensive and too big). I think it has pictures from just about every Disney animated (hand-drawn) movie ever made! It was amazing; you’ll never find Disney products like this in the US ~_~ If I ever go back to Japan I’m going to look for it again!

Pokemon puzzle

This is my oldest puzzle (another 500 piece one).

I’m thinking about buying the 1000 piece Bunny Girls jigsaw. Do you have a rough estimate how long it took you?

  2. Yumeka says:

I worked on it over the course of a few weeks after I bought it at AX. So I would say, if you work on it about 1 to 3 hours a day, it should take roughly a few weeks or more to complete.
