Well, Mainichi Anime Yume finally reached 100 posts a couple of days ago. When I first started the blog back in October of last year, I knew I would continue to keep it up, although a few months ago I got really busy with school and work, and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to keep working on it after all. But with some proper time budgeting I’ve been able to keep it running for over 9 months now! So a big thank you to everyone who’s been visiting, and also to those who visit my main site, AnimeYume.com, which is now almost 5 years old! I wouldn’t have nearly as much motivation to continue working on the blog or the main site without your continued support and feedback! ^_^ Anyway, if you’re interested in my current/future plans for both MAY and AnimeYume, read on…
If you’ve been keeping up with MAY these past few weeks, you probably noticed I’ve been posting a lot more than usual. That’s cause I’m finally on summer break and don’t have any school assignments to deal with ^^ (though I still have my part-time job, it doesn’t take up nearly as much time). I’ll be on summer break until mid-July so expect more good posts until then =) I’ll also be attending the full four days at Anime Expo this year so you can look forward to extensive coverage and lots of photos once I get back ^^ I’ll continue to do frequent posts here on MAY for the rest of my summer break, and maybe at least one good update on the main AnimeYume.com site (in addition to the AX coverage). There’s a slight chance I might get the time/motivation to finally add new anime sections to the main site but I can’t guarantee it.
Anyway, I may have mentioned it before, but in late September I’ll going away to a 2-year university to finish up my education. Although I’m planning to bring my computer with me, I honestly don’t know how living at/attending a university will affect my work on the site. I might still be able to work on it as I’ve been doing, or I might be too swamped with school work and college life to deal with it anymore. Don’t worry, I don’t plan on closing either site down…the worst that’ll happen is I’ll only have time to update/post once a month or something like that. Well, there’s still plenty of time before this happens, so until then thanks for making these 100 posts on MAY worthwhile, as well as my 5 years of work on AnimeYume.com! =D
