Another media update!
First of all, before I get to the new media files, I’ve got to apologize for the lack of posts these past few weeks. Some of it’s due to my addiction to Pokemon Diamond, plus the usual stuff like school, work, preparing for university next semester, and trying to catch up on all the anime in my “To-Watch” folder. Also, strangely, I just haven’t been able to think of good things to blog about lately. And now with finals coming up, I really won’t have much free time. But I’ll have some days off in the summer so I’ll definitely use that time to works on posts and other things. Anyway, as for the new media files…

Bleach
-Opening 6 “ALONES” video clip – Download here
As far as images go, this opening is great. Lots of fast-paced Bleach coolness in it…but for the song, not really one of the best in my opinion. I think my favorite Bleach song will always be “D-techno Life”

An okay song, though it doesn’t sound very Bleach-y to me =P
Naruto Shippuuden
-Opening 1 “Hero’s Comeback!!” full-version mp3 – Download here
This song has its good points. I’m not really fond of the rap/hip-hop sound and this song’s got a lot of that. I like the chorus though, and the beat’s pretty good. But when they scream out the words, it kinda makes my throat hurt ^^ I guess I prefer tamer, more generic sounding songs like “Yura Yura” and “Haruka Kanata”
-Ending 1 “Nagareboshi~ Shooting Star~” – Download here
This song sounds similar to the second Bleach ending “Thank You” also by HOME MADE KAZOKU. I didn’t really like them at first, but they’ve got a unique sound to them that I’ve grown to like ^^ I think my favorite song of theirs is “Shounen Heart” from Eureka 7.
One Piece

It’s a bit strange that One Piece only has 7 openings while series’ like Naruto and Bleach that have way less episodes have more openings. I guess One Piece doesn’t mind reusing its openings for more than a season =) Anyway, I wasn’t thrilled with Crazy Rainbow at first, but I’ve gotten to like it. I think I like most of the other openings better, but it’s still a fun song.
Anyway, I’m really gonna try and think of good things to blog about, especially when my summer break starts in early June. One thing you can definitely look forward to is my coverage of Anime Expo ‘07 in early July ^^
